Moving Ahead

It is Sunday morning here in Kampot and we are heading to work. We should finish all of the bedrooms this afternoon. So far we have painted three dorm mother rooms, the girl dorm room, and the office. Today we will finish the two boy rooms if all goes well.

The team is working really hard and everyone is taking part. It has gone really good so far. What a blessing everyone has been. Everyone has been health so far and there have been no major illness in the group. I praise God for that!

This afternoon, we are going to do our first prayer walk through the city and prepare for the children to arrive tomorrow. We plan on having a communion service this evening together as a team.

This morning I was up on the roof of our hotel at 5:00 am and felt the Lord speak to my heart and say that it was important to remember what really matters. As the Holy Spirit was speaking to me, the wat started "the monk chant" and a young man who works at our hotel walked out with food offering to two spirit houses in front of the hotel. There is always "work"to be done, but the most important thing that we can do in this city is pray for Jesus to pierce the darkness of men's souls.

Tomorrow the Heritage House children arrive and we begin to get them settled. The next few days we will be painting all of the common areas.

Thank you for your prayers!

I am praying that God will move in Words of knowlege, wisdom and prophecy as you take communion and pray over the land. We are missing Shane, tell him we love him and can't wait to see him.

I got the blog address from your Mom. I am really in awe of what God has done in all of us in the last 20 years. I never would have believed that you would be a missionary and that I would be a pastor's wife. It was confirmation when I read the post about God speaking to you to remember what is important. God has been speaking that to Philip and me as well. We are agreeing for your new landlady's salvation and her household. Blessings to you and the team!

WOW~ what a blessing to be able to keep up with the "goings on" in Cambodia! Thank you for taking the time and energy to keep us updated. That is a blessing!
You all have my prayers always and I fully expect GREAT reports when you all get back safely here in the US.

Blessings on those babies as they move into, and become, the "dwelling place of God" in that city! I love and am praying for everyone of you from Deborah to you Lewis! We are praying for everyone there both the HH kids/ staff and the team to have full confidence of the Lord's work in and through you all during this trip and this move.
May the Lamb that was slain recieve the reward of His suffering in Cambodia!
